Comfortable In your own skin Hide yourself With expression that Impresses sin on perfection - You talk down On codependency When the outside Living in me Finds my independence hard to see - My patience rises As I admit the truth To my stubborn self Pathologically true - My developing Emotion Struggles with The notion that The elephant in the room Is no longer happy - My patience rises As I admit the truth To my stubborn self Pathologically true

We've been thinking about these days We've been walking in a foggy haze No falling off of what we know about No questioning the status of our whereabouts - We leave our present and our past Is our future Try all of what you give But we still Remain sober - As we look into our mirrors We see a maze Just a reflect of All the days Of watching fires Instead of putting out the blaze Into my own eyes I hold my gaze - Mesmerizing pathways Stealing away that falling gaze Past and present fade away Who am I nowadays anyway - We leave our present and our past Is our future Try all of what you give but we still Remain sober - As we look into our mirrors We see a maze Just a reflect of All the days Of watching fires Instead of putting out the blaze into my own eyes I hold my gaze

folk punk 02:54
Now dad, I have an idea that I think is worth the sharing. One about our God, and our humanity. I know it seems strange, but hear me out. I will explain gladly, if you will sit down. What if the sun exploded, and all of us were gone? And when I say all of us I mean all of us, including; you, me, and Mom. Where would we go? Who would continue the worship, the prayer, and the culture we have built? It is a sad thought, I know. Here we go. Where are our politics? Our party alignments. Our necessary corruption? Propogandous seduction. What happens to the Pope? Does he survive in Heaven? Or, does Heaven fade away? Does God get weak when he loses all his following? I'd like to know where we are supposed to go. If there is nowhere, then that is cool too, I guess. In this cruel world, where the daily life is just trying to get by, what do we look up to, or forward to, when looking back gets too hard? I would like some hope, but if there is none then I would like to say that at least I'd . . . still like to know. - Sincerely.

We're not the same Two and a half years we say Why is the sky so clouded And every word read Your novel in my head And those first arguments That I can't forget Smoking Chained Cigarettes - Let's go back To those meaningless talks And those pointless conversations that we had Before we knew what was coming next Let's lay back down and forget the politics - You're right I've changed I'm not the same me But don't think for a second That you haven't You're just as guilty But that's what I love No matter how stuck We will never be done - Let's go back To those meaningless talks And those pointless conversations that we had Before we knew what was coming next Let's lay back down and forget the politics

Encrypted language Is all we can speak anymore There's no universal Just the rehearsal Of revision - Locked in Bliss solidarity Living In mass anxiety Constant turmoil war Seeking external peace Thinning coats Stripped blinds made raw Mask drips but won't fall

A moment stuck in time Like a piece of film taped to your wall Horrendous memory to be Never forgotten Think of holding And snapping That lovely photo - Intoxication Helps overexpose Meet people Abuse more Complain to yourself About your constant contradictions Wake up to another girl A foreign girl With whom you have no experience - Wake up with a hangover to that wall The piece of film That you dreaded And hated Becoming a piece of empathy And deep sorrow As you hang your photo - Intoxication Helps overexpose Meet people Abuse more Complain to yourself About your constant contradictions Wake up to another girl A foreign girl With whom you have no experience
